Our modern family retreat offers spectacular views of the Western Catskills. Just 3hrs from NYC, this 3 bed, 2 bath has huge windows, an abundance of natural light and 360 mountain views from large decks. Indoor fireplace, outdoor firepit, plus two 1 acre spring fed ponds for swimming in summer and skating in winter. 3 mins to the beautiful village of Bovina, home to Brushland Eating House, and 6 mins to Andes restaurants, shopping and galleries, and 25 mins to ski at Bellayre and Platterkill. The space The home is 2500sq feet, across two levels, huge cathedral ceilings, radiant floor heating throughout, a wood burning stove and a cozy mezzanine lounge area for watching TV. The master bedroom is on ground floor with a kingsize bed, linen sheets, huge windows that allow you to admire both moonlight and sunrise from bed, and a private bathroom complete with deep soak bath tub and windows that look out over the surrounding mountains. The 2nd floor bedroom has a queen size bed with new latex mattress and linen sheets, there our child's room with a toddler bed, and a queen mattress. The guest bathroom is deep green plaster and concrete wet room with rainfall copper shower head and brass fixtures and fittings. Our kitchen is fully stocked with all your cooking needs, condiments, dishwasher, Wolf stove, espresso machine and your are welcome to help yourself to tea, coffee, condiments and the stocked freezer. Other things to note We recommend coming in a 4 or all wheel drive vehicle if there is heavy snow on the ground as our driveway is quite long and uphill.
