Cedar Grove Lodge - Northern Bed + Breakfast

Come enjoy some time at this cozy Pan-Abode Cedar log home in Northern Alberta. The space Cedar Grove Lodge is a beautiful Western Red Cedar Pan-Abode Log Home that was built in 1995. The entire main floor is built of logs with hardwood flooring throughout creating a warm atmosphere. Cuddle up with a book and hot drink by the fireplace in our cozy living room, spend some time enjoying nature outside in our front or back yard, or visit some of the nearby attractions. Located within walking distance is a sliding hill and skating rink to enjoy in winter and in summer a small pond where a family of wild geese reside. The deer wander through our yard and there are always birds to watch out the living room and dining room windows. Pleasant walking trails on the outskirts of town are within in easy walking distance. Load up and drive 15 minutes to Hutch Lake for some delightful fishing or a relaxing picnic by the water. We have kayaks available for rent upon request if you'd like to get out on the water in summer. Guest access Upon arrival, you will enter through our main front door located near the top of the stairs. Head down the stairs and find the bedrooms: The Aspen Room is decorated in warm shades of cream and gingerbread, The Birch Room evokes serenity with white and seafoam green, and The Spruce Room welcomes you to rest and relax surrounded by rich dark wood and pine green. Located downstairs is a guest sitting room, bathroom, and kitchenette, the latter equipped with microwave, fridge, hot plate, water cooler, and Kuerig. Join us in the morning for a hot breakfast, served at 8:00am in the main dining room. Please inform us of any food allergies ahead of time so that we can properly accommodate your needs. The basement kitchenette will be stocked with some basic to-go breakfast items: fruit, oatmeal packets, yogurt, juice, and baked goods. Our common areas are available for guest access upon request, including the laundry facilities, kitchen, and BBQ grill (as well as the fire pit and pool in season). The upstairs living room with its cozy fireplace and the coffee bar in the dining room are available for our guests to enjoy. Other things to note We have a no pet policy. You may be greeted by our big friendly dog if you venture out to the back yard. He is super friendly and loves people.
