This 5 bed, 3 bath cottage offers incredible privacy, 178 ft of shoreline with two separate docks, and southwest views. Multiple entry points into Moore Lake include a shallow, sandy beach area perfect for kids and a deep water dock with water mat. Our large waterfront deck is equipped with a gazebo, lounge chairs, BBQ, and a hot tub that comfortably seats 6 adults. We cater to families and a mature renter - 25 years and older. Government issue ID of all adult renters is required upon booking. The space The cottage sleeps 8 people. High vaulted ceilings and floor to ceiling windows in the great room offer expansive lake views while you enjoy many types of board games or a Roku streaming TV. StarLink internet offers exceptional wifi connectivity for streaming, videos calls, and even online gaming. Enjoy cooking in a large, fully equipped kitchen with plenty of prep room and storage. Coffee, tea, and basic spices are complimentary. The Haliburton room sits just off the kitchen, and is perfect for enjoying a cool, bug-free breeze on a hot summer’s day, with sliding, screened windows and ceiling fan. The main level hosts 2 separate bedrooms and a 4-piece bathroom - 1st bedroom with a queen bed and private balcony, 2nd bedroom with a twin-over-double bunk bed. In the basement, there are is an additional bedroom wity a set of bunk beds and a double bed. The other room is used as your own home office. A 3-piece bathroom is available for your convenience. All bedrooms are equipped with ceiling fans to keep you cool. Play and relax in the basement family room with more beautiful lake views and walk out access, and a high-powered foosball table. Located in Minden Hills, which is just under 2 hours north of the GTA. The town of Minden is 15 mins north, where you can find restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacies, LCBO and Beer store. We are located on a municipal road which is plowed during the winter months. It offers a peaceful winter retreat and the lake is great for ice fishing. The driveway has somewhat of a steep entry and 4WD with winter tires is required in the winter. Although the driveway is plowed and sanded, winter conditions can be unpredictable. We do caution guests to acknowledge the inherent risks of the winter environment. We cannot be held liable for any difficulties or towing fees. Guest access You’ll have access to the entire home and property. You may also use our non-motorized watercraft: a canoe, two single kayaks, a double kayak, and a pedal boat. Other things to note Sorry, no pets permitted. This is a family cottage, and parties are not permitted. We have a security camera facing the front entrance and driveway for security purposes. We have StarLink. This has legitimate high speed consistently between 105 to 150Mb (download) and 10-20Mb upload. Suitable for streaming, video calls, and even online gaming. We have a child high chair/booster seat as well as plastic plates, bowls and cups. Toddler cutlery is available and 2 step stools for bathrooms. Linens are included and part of the cleaning price. Please bring your own beach towels. All garbage and recycling must be taken with you on departure. Landfill information is provided with a pass. A fee of $40 per bag (garbage or recycling) will be charged if left behind.
