For convenience, most locals live in the city, which is also where most of the rentals are located. Fortunately, the beach is only 3 km away, with a modern bike path and easy access by car that gets you there in less than 5 minutes. Around town you can also explore cenotes, each as impressive and unique as the next, or follow another bike path to the pyramids of Tulum. For a longer excursion, take a trip south to the UNESCO-protected Sian Kan Biosphere, or head north to swim in the wild turtle sanctuary of Akumal. An hour's drive west will take you to Cobá, the largest pyramid on the Yucatán peninsula, and the surrounding cenotes, or drive a little further to the charming colonial town of Valladolid. Guest access Guests have access to the entire Villa. Full access to the front and back interior gardens, swim pool and refreshing dipping pool, and entire inside of the villa space! Please remember to switch off air conditioning & lights when not in the house. Other things to note For guests with extended stays more than 7 days a courtesy scheduled cleaning is offered. New bedding and towels are provided. Additional requested cleanings are scheduled for a small fee. For guests staying less than 7 days, requests for cleaning are with small fee. Pool maintenance and cleaning is scheduled twice a week and complementary. This is mandatory for optimal function.
