Waterview Cottage - a peaceful riverside location

A beautiful characterful cottage in a peaceful location next to the river in the heart of Holmfirth and is the perfect place to relax and a short stroll to independent shops, bakeries, bars and restaurants. There’s plenty to do with popular folk, art, film, food festivals or why not book a wine tasting tour of Holmfirth Vineyard or catch a gig at the Picture Drome. Also a walking and cycling enthusiast's paradise with the Peak District National Park, Pennine Way and moorland on your doorstep. The space Comfy kingsize bed with ensuite bathroom including electric shower. Fully equipped vaulted ceiling kitchen including washing machine and fridge freezer. Please note the entrance to this bijoux space is low and narrow but all part of it's quirky charm so mind yer napper! We have used quality fixtures and fittings and decorated in an eclectic style which we hope has something for everybody. Guest access Access all areas!! But please note lane is very narrow and unsuitable for vehicular access unless essential for dropping off luggage or persons due to mobility issues. No on site parking but limited free parking spaces available and free 1 hr parking opposite Elephant and Castle pub which is a 2 min walk over the bridge and plenty of car parks through the village - all cheap. Other things to note Lane has no street lighting so recommend using phone torch if arriving when dark and there are torches in the cottage to use during stay. Doorway has a light sensor and activates overhead lamp.
