Lake Miltona Family Cabin

This 3000 sq ft home was built for families to gather and make lasting memories. Features 8 bedrooms plus sleeping space in tv room joined by wide hallways. 3 bathrooms, large great room joined to the kitchen for easy socializing, screened in porch, and an expansive lake view. Accommodating for large family gatherings as the home is all on one level with a level lake lot with a sandy beach. Private dock and two boat lifts (1 for pontoon only, 1 for pontoon or standard fishing/speed boat). The space Private play set available for children. Fire pit near the beach. This home does not boast a luxurious feel but rather provides a comfortable and airy space perfect for large families with guests of all ages. Of note, there are a couple of steps to enter into the home but no steps to move about the home (1 level home). Washer and dryer available only during summer months. Guest access Access to the whole home and yard/beach. Other things to note MAXIMUM GUEST LIMIT: 20 overnight guests, 24 daytime guests. A guest is any person age 5 years and older. People under the age of five years are not included in the guest count. We provide hand soap, dish soap, and dishwasher tablets. We DO NOT provide body soap, shampoo, or conditioner. Washer and dryer only during summer months (guests bring soap -- MUST BE HIGH EFFICIENCY) We do have 2 highchairs available. We do have a jetted tub in the master bath but the jets are not functional at this time. You must bring your own charcoal for the outdoor grill. You must purchase your own firewood for the indoor fireplace in the living room and for the outdoor fire pit per the MN laws around transporting firewood (local gas stations usually have some). Per the MN Dept of Ag, "It is illegal to transport hardwood firewood out of Minnesota quarantined counties unless it is MDA certified firewood. Moving uncertified hardwood firewood out of quarantine counties is illegal and is punishable up to a $7,500 fine per violation per day." Please visit the MDA Firewood Information Page for more details. We do not have boats for renting at this time. One local boat rental place is Garfield Marine and Storage. During the months of June through August, we require a SEVEN night stay minimum with the exception of the first week of June and the last handful of days in August. In addition, current summer renters are given first priority for booking for the following summer during the same week. We do not know summer availability until one week following the end of the week in question. For example, if you are looking at July 8-15, 2022, we would not know if this is available until the end of the third week of July 2021.
