The space This bright apartment in our traditional Caribbean house offers two bedrooms with AC, a living room, one bathroom with shower, a kitchen, a big terrace and the biggest beachfront garden at Playa Negra. You can also book the whole house that sleeps up to 8 people (see our other listings). Important: Our Airbnb is very new, so we don’t have a lot of reviews yet. But our co-host Yoshua lives next to the house and is a superhost on Airbnb (check out his profile if you like). Apartment: Two bedrooms with ACs. The living room opens up towards the outdoor terrace with a big window front and is connected to the half-open kitchen which is fully equipped to prepare simple meals (gas stove and oven, blender, freezer, drip coffee maker, toaster). Outdoor area and garden: Enjoy a meal on our large terrace with the dining table seating up to 8 people or relax in the hammock or the lounge chairs. This outdoor area is private for this apartment! Take a walk on our natural path through the garden and discover all kinds of fruits, the biggest Guanacaste tree of the region (it would take approx. 6-8 people to hug it) as well as Costa Rica's wildlife that is crossing through and living in the natural part of our property (iguanas, colorful birds, sloths and monkeys). Sit still on your terrace or whilst walking our path and observe the wildlife by eyes or with a pair of binoculars. Good luck! Location: Our Hidden Beachhouse is beachfront at Playa Negra: a beautiful, quiet and - like the name reveals - black sand beach. Leave the house in your bathing suit and dive into the Caribbean ocean within fifteen seconds! A few steps away from our house, you can find a beach hotel to grab a bite or enjoy an exotic drink at sunset and also a small supermarket with everything you need. The city center of Puerto Viejo is a six minute drive away, offering you a huge selection of restaurants, bars and shops. Close by, you can go snorkeling in the biggest reef of the Caribbean coast, touring chocolate farms and visit the famous animal rescue center. A perfect holiday spot. Guest access When staying in this private apartment, you have access to your private terrace as well as the natural garden. 10 steps away from the front gate is the beach, easy access by foot. Other things to note Yoshua is our manager on-site and will welcome you and give you a tour of the house. He is also there to assist you during your stay.
