Relax after a long day in the hot tub or bring your own beverages to serve on the piano bar. Take a walk on the paved Cape Fear River Trail 1 min away or borrow our bikes. Mtn bike trails are North 5 min. You will feel relaxed and at home with this newly upgraded home featuring a farmhouse vibe, brick accents, new floors, a standing/sitting desk, and many kitchen amenities. Need to work out during your stay? We've got you covered with a small gym at the house. Need a desk? We've got it. The space This house is located seconds away from the Cape Fear River Trail on a hill/steep incline. In the backyard, plug in the sparkling lights, retract the shades and relax on the patio space in the Hot Tub or sit in a patio chair with some wine you bring. Go for a morning walk, run or bike on the paved path. The trailhead is 1 min down the hill! South will take you to Clark Park (playground, waterfall, covered bridge, and hiking trails). North will take you to mtn bike trails 5 min away or less. Miles up the path is Methodist University. FREE PARKING - Guest parking is across the street where there is trail parking or in the driveway (very steep and hard to get out). Please do not park in front of the neighbor's homes. The house is recognizable by the classic farmhouse look: white house, black trim and a bright red front door welcoming you home! When you enter – you will be embraced by a clean modernized house, with new floors, new tile, letting your worries out and getting to truly relax. From the entryway, bedrooms are located down the hallway on the right. This listings’ space sleeps 7 guests. Please keep noises levels to a reasonable level quieting around 10pm to 6am. The kitchen is fully stocked with basic cookware/utensils and some extra things like a rice cooker, Insta-pot and blender. There is a water filter dispenser inside the refrigerator and a Keurig coffee maker with an assortment of coffees with creamer and sugar. Enough to feel like you are right at home. In the garage there is a piano bar. Sometimes there are spirits left on the piano bar and beverages in the cooler from past guests. Help yourself to a drink or two when they are there, bring your own favorites when there is not. Wine glasses are also hanging from the piano bar. The living room has a coffee table that converts to a second laptop/writing desk. There's even an adjustable height DESK with a LAPTOP HOOKUP STATION with an extra monitor, keyboard, and mouse. If you are coming here with family, check out the games in the garage we have for ENTERTAINMENT. There are darts, shuffleboard and Foosball. There is also a CrossFit gym in the garage with kettlebells, bench press, jump ropes, and a yoga mat. Guest access The whole house will be yours to use. The garage will not be available to store any vehicles in as there are games and equipment occupying the space. Other things to note Ask us about our monthly or mid term rates! Other details about the house are located in our house manual or additional house rule sections. Commercial trucks are not allowed in city limits of Fayetteville. When guests book, they agree they have found and agree to our "additional house rules," in the "house rules" section. The city is planning to install sidewalks along both sides of the road of where our listing is located. They will work with keeping driveways open and traffic flowing. They are currently planning to start construction Fall 2026. The listing photo of the front of the house will be updated when construction is completed. We are preparing to replace the floors in the Fall 2026. They are buckling in a few places where we have clear flooring tape, just be mindful so no one trips over those areas.
