Our cottage sleeps six comfortably and is perfect for families who love to relax and play - inside and out! 1 min (or a short stroll) from Sister Bay Historical Society (Christkindlmarkt), Northern Haus, Peach Barn and Pirates Cove 2 min from Sister Bay Beach/Downtown 5 min from Ephraim 11 min from Baileys Harbor or Ellison Bay 15 min from Peninsula State Park The space The Petit Retreat may be close to everything in Sister Bay, but the quiet neighborhood and wildlife sightings from the front windows make you feel like you're nestled in the woods. Set back from the road with a big front yard, fenced in backyard with a chiminea, gas grill and big dining table, the outside of the cottage is almost as cozy as the inside! Guests enter the cottage into a bright and inviting living room with modern, yet comfortable, furnishings and a 55" OLED TV with Roku. The living room flows into a dining space with tall vaulted ceilings, updated lighting, a large table for games and shared meals, and a record console (and records!) to provide background music to your vacation. The fully stocked kitchen includes a gas range, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher and plenty of counter and cabinet space. Just around the corner, guests can find a washer and a dryer. Also on the first floor are two bedrooms - one huge master bedroom with a king bed, lots of natural light, 43” Roku TV, electric fireplace and reading nook, and another bedroom with a queen bed - and one spacious bathroom with tons of counter space and a large walk in shower with two shower heads (wall mount and hand held) and a bench. Upstairs, guests will find the 3rd bedroom which has a queen bed and desk, the 2nd full bathroom with a bathtub/shower and a large loft space complete with another great lounging couch and chair, a 48" OLED Roku TV, Nintendo Wii and a view into the dining space below. Working remotely? Our loft also has a desk with an extra monitor, keyboard, mouse and chair. Each bedroom and the main dining/living space have new, quiet window AC units (4 total). All of this plus plenty of extra pillows, soft blankets, games and puzzles (for kids and adults).
