Unwind at our super unique log cabin...where rustic meets comfort. Made from hand hewn Hemlock logs, this tranquil getaway is a true log cabin with updates for maximum relaxation. Just 17 min to the heart of Murphy, 30 min to Blue Ridge, GA, and only 18 min to Copperhill, TN and McCaysville, GA. Though these places are close by, you may decide you don't want to even venture out away from the cabin! This is a perfect spot for some quality time. The space Nestled in the woods on over 3 acres, there is plenty of room for your private getaway. The upper driveway will take you to the living room/kitchen entrance on the 2nd floor. The lower driveway takes you to the master bedroom entrance. Both of these entrances have an electronic lock with keypad for entry. Make your way up the spiral stairs to the loft bedroom and find a hammock just begging for you to lay in and read a book or take a nap. The hammock can be removed from its hooks if you need to put a blow up mattress on the floor. The loft also has a sleep number bed for maximum comfort! Peek inside the toy cabinet in the loft to find plenty of books, toys, coloring books, and crayons for keeping the entertainment of the wee ones while the adults relax. Back down on the main floor, you will find a fully stocked kitchen, butcher block counter tops, a deep farm sink, and a live edge bar with plenty of storage room underneath. Just off the kitchen is our one-of-a-kind bathroom with a farmhouse rain shower! Enjoy cuddling on the couch to watch one of the many DVDs we have available or connect your hot spot to the smart tv to watch whatever you want! (Please make note that we do not have internet. Many people miss this part in the description and on the amenities list.) If you're looking for some quality time, there are board games and card games stored in the coffee table. Pull those out, sit by the fireplace, and reconnect with your spouse, family, or friends. Walking out the back door from the main floor takes you to the covered part of the wrap around porch where you can watch the deer walking by, watch the sun set behind the mountains, or just enjoy the fresh mountain air. Back inside, you can take the spiral stairs down to the master bedroom for a little more privacy with your own en suite bathroom. The closet holds the washer and dryer as well as space for hanging clothes. The master bedroom has a private entrance that leads out to a patio with a porch swing. Take a few more steps and you are hanging out by the fire pit! Guest access When staying with us, you will have over 3 acres of privacy! We do ask that you respect any "no trespassing" signs that you may find and try not to wander too far from the cabin as there are not clearly marked trails through the woods. Other things to note Please note that the booking guest must be a minimum of 25 years old. With a quick search online, you will find that there is so much to do around here! From hiking, biking, waterfalls, boating, fishing, and lakes to gem mining, putt putt, casinos, shopping, movies, and more. There are so many amazing restaurants to choose from around here as well.
