Welcome to Hampstead Cottage! This country home is in North Stamford on the border of Pound Ridge and 0.4 miles from the famous Pound Ridge Golf Course. It is the perfect escape for a family break. As you drive in on the .25 mile drive you are greeted by a pond and wildlife. The space The stone home has a large, welcoming great room flooded with light and expansive doors that lead to the home's gem: the back patio and pool. The custom pool and hot tub were redone last year. Enjoy the sounds of the birds and the waterfall from the spa as you drift off to sleep in the sun. A 10 foot table is perfect for large families and day beds surround the pool for lounging. There is an outdoor shower and large outdoor TV as well. Beyond the pool, children can enjoy a swing set, trampoline and a zip line (with adult supervision)! Inside we completed a major renovation this winter adding three bathrooms to the upstairs level. There are two master bedrooms: one on the ground level and one on the second floor. In the lower level there is a TV room, play room, gym with Peloton treadmill, Peloton bike and Tonal unit. (There is also a Soul Cycle bike in a nook on the ground level.) There is a gym spa bathroom complete with a spa bucket. Completing the lower level is another King bedroom. Nearby you can enjoy hiking in the Ward Reservation in Pound Ridge or Mianus Park in Greenwich. All the shops and restaurants of Fairfield or Westchester County are within 25 minutes from the house: Westport, Darien, Rowayton, Greenwich and Bedford. Guest access You need a car for this property.
