Only 15 minutes from downtown Joshua Tree and only a 20 minute drive to the the North Entrance to Joshua Tree National Park and 25 minutes from Pioneer Town This beautiful cabin has exposed beams, a piano, and a wood stove, newly renovated indoor bathroom with rain shower There is a dirt road leading to the cabin about a mile, can be a bit bumpy but just letting guest know, a truck or SUV or car that doesn't have really low ground clearance is recommended due to soft sand in some areas of the road Wild West out here snakes, bugs, coyotes, owls, kangaroo rats and other critters may be seen!. Don't be surprised to see some of these desert dwellers during your stay in this remote landscape. Generally, if you leave them alone, they leave you alone but to avoid unwanted contact please remember to keep doors closed. A queen size bed and a full size air mattress and sofa sleeper that fold out to a full size bed for an additional guest. Newly renovated indoor bathroom with rain shower and hot water, a mini-fridge, kitchenette/cabinets, plates, cups, dishes and silver are all provided. "ziplocs" toilet paper paper towels towels- for bath, hand and washing Aveeno bodywash Aussie shampoo and conditioner BBQ grill propane provided Indoor heater Indoor AC Unit Wifi provided throughout home and cell service Bluetooth speaker 1 indoor wood stove (stop at a store to buy fire wood to get fire started) 1 outdoor wood fire pit. 1 propane BBQ grill small 16 ounce propane tank provided lighters and matches * bring a bundle of wood for fire pit and/or wood chips, available in town at Stater Bros, Vons, 1 outdoor shower - Horseshoes Hammocks Washer/Dryer access for a fee or free, depending on length of stay. Contact host for code. Wood Stove: use wood chips and logs f it isn't too cold, put out fire before going to bed. ;-) Open cupboards and drawers around bed to find additional board games, books, hangers, cabin journal, air mattress, pillows, linens, etc... Guest access Keypad Check yourself into the home with a door code which will be given to you on the day of your check in. Other things to note To get to the cabin, it will require you to drive 1 mile on a dirt road. On normal days, all types of cars can get to the cabin. When it rains (Jan-May), the road can get muddy. An SUV, truck or car that doesn't have really low ground clearance is recommended due to soft sand in some areas of road. So consider this before you book. We do not want you to get stuck. SEPTIC SYSTEM To help us maintain our septic system, we kindly request that guests refrain from disposing of anything other than toilet paper in the toilet, and avoid putting any food, coffee grinds, oil or other items down the kitchen sink drain. This will help prevent any issues with the plumbing and ensure that our system runs smoothly throughout your stay. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding in helping us maintain the proper functioning of our septic system.
