Casa Kula is a regenerative project to nurture the land, strengthen the local community and create a space conducive to healing and celebration. We are nestled in an avocado grove in the small Mayan village of Tz’ununa. Set to a backdrop of rugged mountains, waterfalls and forest with beautiful views of Lake Atitlan. The space To make our dream a reality, we have built a hobbit house, two handcrafted cabins and 4 camping spots, a yoga platform, community kitchen, traditional Mayan sauna, organic vegetable gardens, ceremonial fire circle, meditation pond, composting toilets, solar powered showers, worm condo and chicken coop. The Hobbit House is a beautifully handcrafted earthen home. Dressed with wooden furniture and local textiles, The Hobbit House contains a double bed, and a bunk suitable for a child, sleeping a maximum of 3 people. The space is light and airy, with round door and window to open you to the elements.
