Located 50 km from Paris, the Domaine d'Orgemont welcomes you all year round for your events with friends or family, for your seminars, coworking, internships or holidays. In the heart of a 9-hectare wooded park, in a hamlet in the countryside located within the Gatinais Regional Natural Park, the Domaine d'Orgemont offers a capacity of up to 36 beds: 10 beds in the 5 bedrooms of the castle as well as 26 beds in the cottages located in the Domaine park. The space The Domaine d'Orgemont, property of Pierre d'Orgemont, Chancellor of France of King Charles V, dates back to the 14th century. It was in the 19th century that the current castle and its chapel were erected in a 9-hectare park. From an agricultural estate to a bourgeois holiday home, the Château d'Orgemont became a center of Protestant theology in the 1960s. In the 1970s, the CGT bought the Domaine to make it a training center. Then, the site was abandoned in 1988 and remained abandoned for 30 years, until its recent purchase by the current owners. Major renovation work was carried out for 3 years, and the site opened in May 2021. Ideal place to host your family reunions, weddings, birthdays, cousins, seminars, coworking stays, hiking groups (the GR1-GR11 passes at the edge of the Domaine), choirs/orchestras (rehearsals in the chapel)... with an excellent level of comfort (18 rooms & 17 bathrooms with toilet, complete renovation carried out in 2020-2021, Nordic spa available in the park, petanque court, children's playground, ping-pong table, basketball hoop, mini-football court, SUMO mats and outfits, Yoga mats, piano, guitar, Karaoke equipment...). The Estate also offers a reception room located in the old chapel of the castle (65 m² + catering area, accessible to people with reduced mobility) as well as a living space dedicated to cottages (large room of 35 m² in the park). From April to the end of October, a 144 m² (8 m x 18 m) marquee with a beautiful terrace overlooking the park is available to organize meals for up to 100 people, as well as seminars. Enclosed park of 9 hectares, 2 private parking lots on the site (50 cars in total), electric car charging station, animal area (chickens, geese, ducks...). The Domaine d'Orgemont is part of an eco-responsible development, the Domaine was renovated from 2018 to 2021 with the aim of making as much energy savings as possible. The lighting is LED, all our rooms are equipped with double glazing, the insulation is wood wool, the outdoor lighting is activated using motion sensors... Our 9-hectare wooded park is a refuge for local biodiversity, and many areas are worked or kept wild to ensure a rich ecosystem and protected biodiversity. Regarding our partners, we work only with local and environmentally conscious service providers, our caterers have their own vegetable gardens and travel is limited to the strict minimum (10 to 20 km). In addition, we have two RER stations within 6 km, which limits the carbon impact of your stay at Domaine Orgemont if you come by train. The Domaine d'Orgemont is accessible by car from Paris by the A6, or the N20, as well as by RER C (Bouray/Lardy station - 30 min from BFM) and by RER D (La Ferté-Alais station). The train stations are 5-10 minutes by car from the Domaine. Guest access The place is privatized for guests. The owners' accommodation is in a closed courtyard close to the castle. Other things to note Multiple catering options (caterers, food truck, home chef, meal trays, vegetarian or vegan offer...) are available upon request.
