European Style Hostel You're likely to meet interesting travelers from around the world. The cave has a lot of space to stretch out with the common areas on the main floor, a big back yard, and front porch. You'll have fun hanging out with new people or finding a secret spot to read a book and relax. The space Smoking, Vaping, & Libations You can smoke weed, cigars, and cigs downstairs, the porch, or backyard. Only vaping is allowed in the bedrooms. For drinks I have glasses, big whiskey ice, and a cocktail shaker and blender. Non-Smokers The house has special smoke filtration systems in place to handle smoke and many other air contaminates. The house uses Merv 11 Grade Air Filtration, iWave-R Cold Plasma House Purification, and Ozone Generating Air Purifiers. Check-in 24-hour self check-in via lock boxes to get your room keys. Parking There is plenty of free street parking - its a quiet street. You can park anywhere there's a spot. It's all free, there's no parking meters. WiFi I have the fastest 1G plan Grand Rapids offers. And if you need an ether connection for work ask me for a cat-6 cable. Bedrooms Upstairs I have 3 bedrooms for travelers. You all get keys to your personal room. Each room has a Keurig coffee maker supplied with coffee. The windows have black-out curtains and frosted style glass for privacy. The mattresses are big comfy queens, with summer weight blankets for the season. Bathrooms There's 2 bathrooms so it's easy for everyone to get in a shower. They're fully stocked with towels and all the amenities you might need. And they are cleaned almost daily by my amazing housekeeper! Kitchen I love cooking and have everything needed to prepare a special meal. You'll have very sharp chef knives, pots, pans, baking sheets. Oh, and theres a microwave too. I've got you covered with cooking and finishing salts, pepper, oils, condiments, and lots of spices. Theres cups, plates, and bowls with silverware. There's also a Berkey water purifier for nice clean water. Living Room You can watch movies on the big screen 172" projector - that's 12ft wide. It runs on a computer so its just a massive computer screen. So open a browser and I have Netflix, Hulu, and Spotify hooked up or open youtube or any website you want. There's hi-fi stereo speakers as well, fine tuned for great sound. Art Room When you enter the house theres a big art table with lots of supplies to draw something cool. If I'm hanging out I will likely try to talk you into drawing something with me. Porch & Backyard You can chill on the front porch and watch all the joggers and dog walkers or hang out in the backyard where it's very private with big shade trees. You can even build a fire and roast marshmallows or BBQ on the grill. Laundry There are free machines in the basement. I have a commercial grade Speed Queen for keeping all the linens clean here. So it's super fast! Housekeeping Please tip your housekeeper I hire a professional housekeeper that works hard and does a great job cleaning! Your cleaning fee goes straight to her. Guest access The house is located in a very safe quiet neighborhood. Traffic is very light getting downtown compared to east and west sides of town. Downtown - 5 min uber/lyft Airport - 20 min US 131 - 2 min Bus Stop - 5 min walk Grand Haven Beach - 45 min During your stay The house primarily offers a peaceful and relaxing environment for guests seeking rest during their stay. I also live on the property in a separate suite. Guests have the opportunity to enjoy a range of amenities. You can watch movies on the home theater system, savor delicious dishes, engage in creative activities, or simply relax and listen to music. As the host, I might come out of my living area to socialize with visitors who want to smoke, have drinks, and enjoy some art while talking about various life topics. Meeting and talking with guests is always the highlight of hosting.
