Enjoy our historic downtown where you can catch the farmers market, shop, dine or take a dip in a spring-fed lake. Relax on your front porch while enjoying ducks/birds. Lemon trees, grapefruit trees, and blueberry bushes bloom right out your doorstep. You are welcome to pick and eat if it is the right time of year. There is a Jon Boat and kayak available for your use. The space The cottage has a large private bedroom with new furniture, including a queen-sized bed. The living room has a new sectional couch (w queen sleeper) and an open floor plan. The full kitchen is stocked with pans, plates, and everyday cooking utensils. The dining table seats four. You will love all the views from this cottage. Guest access You will have full-access to the cottage. You are welcome to use our fire pit, firewood, and to fish our pond. Catfish, bass and brim are biting! We have a couple of fishing poles, but nothing fancy. You might want to bring your own! Other things to note The cottage is on the same property as our main home. We are usually home, as we work from home. We are long-time locals of Walton County. We recently remodeled the main house on this property and became primary residents of DeFuniak Springs, Florida. We moved north of the county from the beach so we may enjoy the land and space but be close to all the surrounding conveniences and activities!
