Comfort & beauty in the country - The Red Oak RV

You will enjoy this cozy glamping experience in a quiet country setting on our 7 acre place. The Red Oak RV is finished inside with quality furnishings and extra comforts so you will feel like you’re at home. We aim to provide your stay with amenities beyond essentials. Read the pet rules before booking. We are an easy 10-20 min. from a long list of sights, activities and tasty food. 10 min. from West 10 min. from Homestead Craft Village and Cafe 20 min. from downtown Waco and Magnolia! The space The Red Oak RV is well hidden from the main road. Drive up through the tree canopy to plenty of parking in front of the RV. Then step onto the large deck/patio which has two chairs and a table for watching the sunset or sipping your morning coffee. We have deer and turkey walk through our yard (field?) frequently. Inside, the kitchen is well equipped for baking, simple meals, or brewing coffee to start your day. We supply a simple Kuerg with k cups of Colombian coffee and breakfast tea. But if you prefer a special treat, we have everything you need to make a French press of fresh, locally roasted coffee. The wide, spacious living room has two recliners and a couch. Turn on the flickering candles and snuggle up with a blanket by the electric fire place in the evening. Or enjoy the morning sun streaming in the multiple windows which give a panoramic view. The dinning table is already set for a dinner for two. We installed a highly rated memory foam mattress to help you get that comfortable night’s sleep. On top are three different pillows to choose from making it a total of six pillows. We can only accommodate two people to sleep in the queen bed. The bathroom has all the essentials plus a basket of toiletries in case you forgot something. Since we know that not everyone has used a RV toilet, we provide simple instructions for you. We also allow for one infant or toddler with a portable crib if you contact us. Please let us know so we can supply a portable crib and crib sheet if you need it. You will need to bring other bedding if necessary. In the living room you will find a basket with toddler toys and books. We have not “baby proofed” so please be responsible for your little person. Refrigerator - We provide a small drink fridge to keep your things cool. The double door freezer/fridge in the picture is not available at this time. If you need to store something in a freezer please let us know and we can work out how to accommodate some freezer space for you. My husband and I with our toddler live on this spacious property. We will give you your privacy, and we are usually here if you need anything. Our small home is connected to a timber-frame studio where my husband teaches chair making classes and I make baskets. We also have a cute puppy who is very friendly. He stays with us most of the time. We allow you to bring up to 2 dogs for a fee of $20 per dog and service dogs are always free. We just ask that you are considerate to clean up any messes and compensate us for any damages they could do to our property. Three dogs and over are not allowed. Please review the house rules for more details and notify us of your pets before you book. Guest access You will have access to the large RV and deck.
