Other things to note We have solar panels, so that you’re never in the dark. But please be advised that Cuba is currently experiencing blackouts. As hosts, this situation is out of our hands and unfortunately, we cannot predict when this happens and for how long (in general blackouts can last between 12 to 18 hours). Although Cuba in general and Guanabo in particular are very safe, we have surveillance cameras installed in common areas 24/7.
