Only minutes away is New Braunfels with plenty to do: float the beautiful Guadalupe River, rent paddle boats or picnic at Landa Park, swim at the Spring Fed Pool, spend the day at Schlitterbahn Water Park, or visit one of the local wineries or breweries for wine or beer tasting. Visit Wimberley and spend the day shopping in the downtown square, or swimming, and hiking at the famous Jacobs Well, Zip Line Adventure, or Blue Hole regional Park offers swimming and nature trails. Canyon Lake is only 30 minutes away and there is plenty of outdoor fun to be found. The James C Curry Nature preserve is great for hiking, or biking trails.
