Valhalla is our summerhouse in Lynæs. We fell in love with each other and the house back in 2020 :) The house is 135 sqm divided into 2 levels. The house from 1959 has been extended and totally renovated in 2023, including a new bathroom, a larger kitchen, a huge terrace and balcony. The house is located high overlooking Roskilde Fjord on a blind residential road only 300 m from Lynæs Harbour and Lynæs Surfcenter. The house has three large double beds as well as alcoves, large kitchen/living room with wood-burning stove. Deer visit the garden daily, nature is very close... The space In Valhalla you can enjoy a cup of coffee with a sea view from the 1st floor.  On the 1st floor, we have 3 bedrooms as well as a living room, where there is a nice sofa bed. 2 of the rooms have a door and the 3rd bedroom we are considering a door ;) On the ground floor, there is a kitchen with a work area next to the kitchen, where there is space to sit and work with your laptop. The TV living room is tucked away in the corner. Large bathroom with double shower + toilet and washing machine. In addition, we have a small toilet at the entrance. Guest access Entire home Other things to note There is a very special light in Lynæs all year round and the stars in the sky are very clearly visible. Outdoor area We have built a 100 sqm wooden terrace as well as a walkway around the house. Here there is ample opportunity to stay and grill and enjoy the late evenings Yes, we can see the sun from morning until it goes down, where it typically illuminates the sky with pink light. We also have a small backyard where there is morning sun, but at present we use it mostly to hang clothes to dry and fetch firewood in the winter. NOTE: We do not want the cottage to be rented to young people, where the idea is to have a party in our cottage. Therefore, as a tenant, you must be at least 25 years old.
