Brand new as of November 2022: The Hayloft on Eastgate is a former stable which has been newly converted and renovated into a cosy, well equipped holiday home situated in Pickering. The property sleeps up to 4 people and has everything you should need for a comfortable stay in this wonderful part of Yorkshire. The centre of Pickering, with its heritage railway, castle, eateries, shops and other amenities is a five minute walk away. The space Located in the garden of a grade two listed Georgian family home, The Hayloft has been tastefully renovated to a high standard. The ground floor opens onto a kitchen, dining and living space, with brand new kitchen and appliances, a log burner, wall mounted smart TV and a double-size futon sofa bed. A utility space houses a washing machine and dryer and the downstairs bathroom boasts underfloor heating, an extra large bath and overhead power shower. Upstairs is a cosy bedroom with a king size bed and en-suite toilet and sink. There is ample storage space and the black-out, thermal lined curtains throughout keep the room warm and peaceful. A travel cot with bedding and high chair are available. Outside there is a private patio area with table and chairs for you to enjoy the warmer days and secure garage storage is available for bikes and/or any other bulky equipment. Guest access You will have the entire property and patio space. Access to The Hayloft and secure gated parking is via a private road at the rear of the property. Directions will be provided. Please note, the garden adjacent to the Hayloft is our family garden and will be in use from time to time, particularly in warmer months. Other things to note We aim to provide the basics for you upon arrival. A full basket of logs, kindling and firelighters is supplied for the log burner. Body wash and hand soap is available in the bathrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped and we also provide some cooking essentials.
