Welcome to our lakehouse on Bald Mountain Lake, located at Rumbling Bald Resort. We provide a dock, Sea Eagle boat with electric motor, 2 SUPs and 2 kayaks. Home has a fireplace and hot-tub. Large, flat back yard with fire-pit. We provide firewood. Resort amenities include 2 golf courses, restaurants, indoor and outdoor pools, spa, sauna. The space Our two-story lakehouse has 5 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, full kitchen, upstairs living room with fireplace, downstairs den, screened porch, wraparound decks on both levels and a gas grill on the deck (we provide gas). We provide guest passes to access Rumbling Bald Resort amenities during your visit, which include two golf courses, restaurants, indoor and outdoor pool, dry sauna, jacuzzi, wellness center and spa. Some amenities, such as golf, includes a fee. Bedrooms include one king bed, four queen beds, two adult-sized cots and a self-inflating mattress. Two of the bathrooms have walk in showers. The other has a bathtub. Home has 200 Mbps wifi-and internet. We will consider allowing a pet (dogs only) on a case by case. Our general policy is to allow one dog under 50 pounds. Please check with us if you are interested in bringing a pet. If you would like to bring more than one pet, let us know and we may consider it on a case by case basis. Bald Mountain Lake is available for swimming, kayaking, taking our the Sea Eagle Boat, etc and the water is clean and clear. Bald Mountain Lake is about 1 mile in length. Following the clean-up efforts from Hurricane Helene in Sept of 2024, Lake Lure is schedule for full re-opening May 1, 2026. Guest access Our property has plenty of space to park two or three cars on site. Free parking.
