Perched at the headwaters of both the Russian River and the Eel River this unique spot offers expansive sky, mountain, and valley views. Relax and unwind or take in local wine tasting, hiking trails, or the pacific coast just an hours drive from here. Enjoy clean comfortable accommodations, mini fridge, outdoor bbq/cooking/dining, outdoor hot shower, small pool, coffee bar, amazing sunsets. The Lotus Bell tent is so named because it’s charming shape resembles a Lotus blossom. It is 16’ across, has two roll up doors with screens & two windows with screens, clear roll down covers, or canvas covers for privacy. It has a queen size bed with fresh cotton linens, towels, a coffee bar, mini fridge & microwave. The shared “bathroom” includes a private outdoor hot shower, open air vanity & sink. There is also a private, well maintained porta-potty for guest use. The outdoor dining area includes a bbq, utensils, dining ware, cook ware, sink with hot running water, dish soap, sponge, kitchen towels & electricity. Guest have access to approx 5 acres of rolling hills & forest, an outdoor dining area, outdoor hot shower. corn hole game, Bocce ball, & small pool. The pool is only big enough to cool off but it’s a blessing on a hot day. We’re pet friendly, however there are no fenced in areas or kennels. Please clean up all pet waste & dispose of it in the outdoor trash cans provided. We ask that while other guests are present, your pet remain on a leash. Please don’t assume that because your pet is friendly, other guests are okay with it in their space or shared spaces. The host lives close by on the property and is available to assist guests. There are two tents on the property in close proximity to one another but are both out of site of the residence. Located on the northern ridge of the Redwood Valley, California, this location has incredible views to the north and south. This quiet wilderness setting is the perfect place to unplug and relax, reconnect with family, friends, or coworkers. Take a lovely drive down a paved country road (approx. 15 minutes from Hwy 101 and 25 minutes from Ukiah) up a short dirt road, where you’ll find plenty of free parking. There is some wildlife in the area. We often see deer, jack rabbits, raccoon, squirrels, quail & many other birds. Rarely seen are foxes, skunks, & bobcats. We ask that you keep all food put away when not in use & trash cleaned up, as to not attract any unwanted critters.
