Downtown shopping and nightlife is also a short drive away. Take the Watty Vos boulevard & you'll be in bubbly Palm Beach area in no time! Caretta studio is an approx. 20 min. drive to beautiful Baby Beach or a 20 min. drive to wavy Arashi Beach. Whichever direction you head towards you'll be sure to find white sandy beaches and bright turquoise waters! If you're not renting a car you'll be an easy 20 min. walk away from a bus stop on main routes that'll take you to either San Nicolas (line L2) or cross the street in front of the airport to head downtown (line L2). There is a bus stop around the corner at a 2 min. walk but is a less frequent route, the bus comes by only 6 times a day to head towards downtown and 5 times a day to head towards Pos Chikito (line L8) Caretta studio is a 1 min. walk from a well stocked convenience store and a 4 min. drive or 20min. walk to a supermarket. Last but not least you'll be an easy 15 min. walk away from popular Bucuti Yacht club where you could get a cold drink and bite to eat & Varadero marina where Fish House restaurant is located. Around the corner you'll be able to visit Tatichi Snack for the local's breakfast favorites and daily lunch menu offering authentic local dishes. Caretta studio is a perfect location for travelers laying over in Aruba. At a short 4 min. drive or a 20 min. walk from the airport & at the fraction of the cost of other big chain airport accomodations. Alternative transportation methods are also available to rent e.g. electric bikes and scooters with designated bike lanes stretching from the airport all the way to Arashi Beach and from the airport all the way to Pos Chikito. On your way to Pos Chikito you'll be able to stop by Aruba Nautical Club for some refreshments and 'catch of the day', they offer daily lunch specials. Then continue on and stroll by Rancho Clemente/Centro Spaans Lagoon and stop by popular Mangel Halto Beach to cool off in the many shades of cool blue waters. When heading up to BabyBeach make sure to stop by Mi Lamunchi for some refreshing fresh squeezed lemonade made to order. With a variety of different fruity flavors made with real fresh fruit. Did you know? Caretta studio is named after the endangered loggerhead sea turtle (Caretta Caretta) Loggerheads visit our beaches on the south and north side of the island yearly between March and September to nest. Local preservation organizations do their best to mark off nests, but some nests could be overlooked. Be mindful when visiting beaches especially on the north side of the island & if driving please stay on carved out (dirt)roads and off the beaches. And keep your eyes peeled for a loggerhead sighting when you go snorkeling or diving! They are beautiful and mostly shy.
