Backing up to the Bridger-Teton National Forest, our large, open home sits on 2.2 acres and is just minutes from Jackson, Teton Village, Yellowstone, and only steps from some of the best fishing, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, and hiking in the country. Watch wildlife from the large secluded hot tub or enjoy a glass of wine in front of the wood stove. Or work remotely over Starlink! Four dedicated bedrooms, one king, three queen beds. The game room has a day bed and trundle, both twins. The space Our home's main living area is open and bright, with vaulted ceilings, a wood stove, and incredible views down the valley. The kitchen is well stocked for entertaining with anything you need to cook a gourmet dinner and service for up to 16 guests. The round dining room table seats eight comfortably, over twelve with the leaf, in addition to seating at the bar. The huge downstairs game room has a foosball table, piano, additional seating, a finicky old bar pool table that sometimes requires tilting, and a large smart TV - ideal for keeping the kids entertained allowing for adults to relax. The house has games, puzzles, cards, books, and more. There's a ping pong table in the garage! Throughout the house you'll find photography of Yellowstone, Grand Teton, and other national parks, and local wildlife all from Jackson photographer Daniel Ewert. The garage has three oversize bays with plenty of room for your vehicles, ski gear, fly fishing rods, and toys. There are 4 sets of snowshoes and sleds for your use. Guest access You'll have complete access to the house and garages with the exception of one of two closets in the master bath. Other things to note Our home has three exterior security cameras on the front of the house for security of the home as it is often empty. These cameras monitor the garage doors, front access doors, and driveway. The hot tub and access to the hot tub are NOT viewable from the cameras' locations. You can cross country ski, snowmobile, hike, or otherwise access the National Forest directly from the house. Just a five minute walk down the road or directly behind the house, access is easy. Grand Teton National Park is less than 45 minutes and Yellowstone National Park is under two hours away, Great fishing in Fall Creek or the Snake River is a five minute drive from the house. In the winter you'll want AWD, a 4x4, or good snow tires to make it up the driveway. There is parking in front of the house on the road, just a few yards from the front door, if your car won't make it up the driveway. The Jackson Hole area, particularly property backing up to the National Forest, like ours, is a wild place. It's not unusual to see moose, bears, foxes, coyotes, mice, moths, bugs, and other creatures. While we do our best to keep all creatures outside, occasionally a mouse, moth, or bug might sneak inside. If this makes you uncomfortable, we recommend booking one of the many beautiful hotels downtown instead. While we've not encountered bears on the property, we advise carrying bear spray (we provide 2) outdoors for your safety. Kindly refrain from leaving food or trash outside.
