Keeper's Cottage, Staffin is a four bedroom holiday home by Staffin Bay where the shore is within easy reach and perfect for leisurely walks. On the ground floor there is an open plan lounge/dining/kitchen and utility room with WC. All the bedrooms and two bathrooms are upstairs. Located on the Trotternish Peninsula, sights like The Storr and The Quiraing are within easy driving distance and the rest of the island is there to be explored. The space Keepers Cottage is situated in the pretty crofting township of Staffin where the beach is only a five minute walk away. The entrance vestibule is spacious and has room for your walking boots and coats. The lounge / dining / kitchen area is open plan. In the lounge there is a flat screen TV with ‘free view’, a DVD and CD player, books and games for you to enjoy. The kitchen is well equipped with an electric cooker, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave and a dining table to seat 8 people. The downstairs utility room has a toilet and wash hand basin, washing machine and drying facilities. On the first floor there are two bathrooms. The first has a WC, wash hand basin and bath with shower attachment whilst the second has a shower room with separate cubicle, WC and wash hand basin. There are two double rooms, one twin room and one bunk room making the house suitable for up to 8 people. The bunk beds are able to take adults and there is a cot and high chair available on request at time of booking. There is off road parking by Keeper's Cottage and a picnic table to the side of the house. (Please note that the house has two adjoining self contained chalets which are completely separate from the house and the connecting door is kept locked at all times.) Important Information: Families are welcome at this property. Cot and high chair available: Please bring your own linen for the cot. Linen, towels, electricity and the final clean are included in the rental. Additional charges : This is a pet friendly property welcomes strictly 1 pet. Pet fee of £50 per pet per week payable at time of booking. Other charges will only occur for breakages or extra cleaning. £50 per week Electric Car Charge with own charger. ( The Property does not provide chargers or a stand alone charging point). £45 admin fee will be charged for any amendments to the booking. Whilst we hope that none of our guests experience issues during their stay, we do need to point out that due to the cottage's location on the Isle of Skye, some services can be tempermental and can take a lengthy delay to get resolved. Internet speed can be very slow and the service can fluctuate during the day and week. Mobile phone signal is very patchy on the Isle of Skye. Also, to replace any broken appliances, it can take weeks for a delivery to happen. We will at all times try our hardest to rectify any issues but please bear with us as there can be issues due to location that are outwith our control.
