Escape to our charming 5-bedroom house with a 40s-esque feeling in the idyllic Oak Street Meadows. Our home has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that offers a countryside feel. It has a warm and welcoming feel of being secluded in the country, yet, just a 20-minute picturesque walk to town. Come and experience the tranquil beauty of our surroundings, a retreat-like place that will leave you feeling refreshed and renewed. No pets allowed. The space The Ashland Dawn Room is a private room in our beautiful home on Oak Street Meadows. The room features a comfortable queen-sized bed and a dedicated writing/working standing desk, and plenty of natural light. Enjoy a peaceful landscape view just outside your window. Our fully equipped kitchen is ready for you to keep your cooking fresh, and it's shared with the host and other guests, complete with deluxe amenities such as a Vitamix and an airfryer pizza oven. Our kitchen also features an organic snacks and amenities station and a luxury filtered drinking water system. Our shared bathroom is always clean and ready for use, and you'll have access to our shared work area, complete with a desk and office chair nearby the coffee and tea station. For those looking to stay fit during their travels, we offer a shared yoga and light workout space, complete with a yoga swing. We also offer an open area for music enthusiasts to play instruments and get creative juices going. Guest access Indulge in the beauty of our expansive property, where you can bask in exclusive access to Bear Creek, one of the few remaining pristine waterways in Southern Oregon. Take a dip in the cool waters, sunbathe on the banks, or simply sit and listen to the soothing sounds of the creek sitting along the native indigenous flower garden that stretches along the creekside. Lounge in several serene seating areas, and take in the breathtaking views of the majestic mountains from our exquisite exotic wood deck. And for a peaceful haven to unwind and reflect, our serene authentic Thai gazebo awaits just steps away from the deck overlooking the creek. For nature enthusiasts or those wanting to take a nice stroll, the Bear Creek Greenway is just up the street (about 100 yards from the property), offering a picturesque path that stretches for 26 miles. And after a day of adventure, soothe your senses in our outdoor bathroom, a shared space designed to pamper and rejuvenate. Also, guests have shared access to our BBQ grill for outdoor cooking fun, and a couple of our bikes for exploring the local area on two wheels. Other things to note PLEASE NOTE: This house is being constructed so you will encounter some unfinished areas in the house. Free on-site parking and an EV charger (level 2). Pets are welcome on other accommodations on the property. Please note the ceilings in the room are low. We’re happy to provide a 50-amp, 220V outlet for charging your electric vehicle. To keep everything running safely, we ask that you adjust your car’s charging rate to 32 amps or less before starting your charge. ONLY OUTLET PROVIDED, NO WIRE IS PROVIDED. For Tesla owners: You can easily lower the charge amps by tapping: Controls > Charging > Charge Current, then slide it down to 32A or lower. This helps prevent the circuit breaker from tripping during charging. For other EVs: If your vehicle allows you to set a lower charge rate, please reduce it to 32 amps or below. (You might find this in your car’s charging or settings menu.) Why this matters: Our home outlet is strong but not the same as a commercial charging station.
