As summer and life returns to the Sierras, our cabin nestled among the cedar trees has everything you need to make memories with families and friends. Just off the highway, the cabin is a five minute drive from Big Trees State Park & the Stanislaus River, the perfect home base for hiking enthusiasts. For those looking for a relaxing escape, we are located on a quiet cul-de-sac with room for the kids and dogs to roam and play and within walking distance of the historic Lube Room Saloon Foyer & Dining Room: As you enter through the front door you enter an open floor-plan that connects the dining, kitchen and living room. The large slider off the Dining Room is your access to the yard with fire pit, hiking trail and swing. In the Dining Room you will find an oversized table where you can host up to eight for a meal. Kitchen & Living Room: The open Kitchen has plenty of counter-space and new appliances. In the Living Room you will find a stone fireplace and a large TV with streaming capabilities for all your entertainment needs. Bedroom #1 - King The primary bedroom incudes a king size bed with TV and wardrobe to hold all of your items. There is also a desk that can be used for WFH days. Bedroom #2 - Queen This bedroom has a queen size bed, TV and large closet with plenty of storage. Bedroom #3- Bunk Room This bedroom is equipped with kids in mind, but can be comfortable for adults as well. Room includes a bunk bed with a full size futon bed on the bottom and a twin size bed on top. This room also has an additional twin size bed in order to sleep 4 that folds into a lounge chair when not being used. (Be advised, room is good for 2 adults or 4 kids). Kids will love the abundance of games and small TV for watching bedtime movies. Bathroom #1 Both full-size bathrooms are located in the back corner of the house. Bathroom #1 has a shower. Laundry Room/Bathroom #2 Bathroom #2 has a shower and tub. In this bathroom there is a stackable washer/dryer as well as back entrance to the home. Many guests will use this door when coming back from Bear Valley to take off ski clothes and easily place in washer and jump into the shower. Outside Amenities: A large deck covers the extends on the front of the home. On this deck you will find a BBQ as well as table and chairs for you and your group to enjoy sitting under the stars or listen to live music on the weekends during the summer from the Lube Room Concert Series (May -Oct). To the side of the home, you'll find a propane fire pit that can be used year round. In addition, you will find a one of kind swing built into the cedar trees, a hiking trail that goes through your private 1/2 acre property and a short walk away to the private lake or Lube Room Restaurant. The Community: Located inside the Snowshoe Springs Community in beautiful Dorrington, CA. You are at the gateway to the high sierras with Bear Valley Ski Resort & the Stanislaus River minutes away as well as a private lake and rec center with pool, tennis, basketball, volleyball, disc golf and more! (Summer Only) Walking distance to the Lube Room which is open all year round and a short drive to Rec Center, Lake Alpine, Arnold and Bear Valley Ski Resort! The whole home Located inside the nostalgic Snowshoe Springs Community in beautiful Dorrington, Ca. You are at the gate to the high sierras with Bear Valley Ski Resort & the Stanislaus River minutes away as well as a private lake and rec center with pool, tennis, basketball, volleyball, disc golf and more! (Summer Only) Walking distance to Private Lake and the Lube Room which has an amazing outdoor area with live concerts in the summer and food specials year round! Short drive to Rec Center, Lake Alpine, Arnold and Bear Valley Ski Resort! — Close to the highway and on a public road that is plowed daily. Driveway is also plowed daily making it easily accessible any time of year. Snow shovels are also provided for removing snow. — In case of winter storms, there is a back-up generator to ensure power is always avaialble. — 20 miles to Bear Valley Ski Resort — 14 miles to wine tasting in Murphys — 4 miles to Big Trees State Park Close enough to everything but nestled in the end of a quiet street for an intimate setting!
