Relax on a lounge chair in the shade of a beach palapa, read, gaze at the white sand, and congratulate yourself for having found a beach with almost nobody on it. Sip a margarita, cool off in the ocean or the pool, and every so often pinch yourself to check that it's real. Manta Raya sits directly on the beach at Salchi — one of the best-kept secrets on the Oaxacan coast, and 25 minutes from Huatulco airport. The space Your room is spacious and airy, with a king bed, air conditioning, and a large terrace with comfortable furniture and a hammock — plus a direct, undisturbed view of the Pacific. Beyond the room: a large pool a few steps from the sand, the P89 bar for a cocktail or a craft beer, and our restaurant, where breakfast, lunch and dinner are all made from scratch with the freshest ingredients. Continental breakfast is included. Starlink internet throughout — genuinely fast, which is rare out here. Guest access You have the run of the property: pool and terraces, the palapas and loungers on our stretch of white sand, the bar and the restaurant. Free parking on site. With only seven rooms it never feels busy, and most days the beach is close to empty. Other things to note We can arrange massages, usually on the beach, tours to the local sights, and hikes to nearby beaches. Huatulco to the east and Mazunte and Zipolite to the west are both 45–60 minutes away, so either makes an easy day trip. Huatulco airport (HUX) is 25 minutes by car — we're happy to organise your transfer. If you prefer singing birds to loud music, and crashing waves to traffic, you've found your place.
