CHARM AND REFINEMENT IN THE IMPERIAL GREEN MOUNTAIN OF RIO DE JANEIRO Located in the city of Teresópolis, the capital of mountaineering in Brazilian mountains, in a region famous for its exuberant nature, fresh air and safety. The house “A bossa da serra” is a true work of art by the architect Hélio Pellegrino, its architectural and landscaping lines enchant in every detail. Affectionately nicknamed CADITOVA by the relatives of matriarch Tova, the house provides memorable moments between family and friends. The space Our space is filled with affection and warmth, ideal for families and groups of up to 10 people. The house “A Bossa da serra” is located on a street with a 24-hour guardhouse and built with 450 m2, on a flat plot of 2,600 m2. It has a large grassy garden, with a landscaping project full of bicentennial imperial palm trees, a mini orchard and fruit trees, which surround the pool and the barbecue area equipped with a table for 8 people, a countertop, a refrigerator, a sink and a buffet-style sideboard. The house also has parking for 12 vehicles, two of which are covered, an electronic gate and a caretaker's house detached from the main house, where our caretaker, his wife and daughter live. Right at the entrance, a beautiful winter garden leads our guests to the living room, which is divided into 4 areas: a dining room with a table for 8 people, a TV room with sofas and armchairs and a 50-inch smart TV with streaming channels, a living room with a reading armchair and fireplace, and a mezzanine with a pool table and a large 3-seater sofa. The very large, airy and light-filled kitchen is fully equipped with cookware, utensils and appliances. It also has a table for 6 people, stove, refrigerator and freezer. The charm is due to our wood-burning stove and oven, which on colder days, when lit, still heat the water from the kitchen taps, reminding us of the luxury of the simplicity of Brazilian farms. Service area with washing sink, 12-kg washing machine, clotheslines, ironing board and iron. The house has three bedrooms, two of which are en-suites. - BEDROOM 1, which accommodates four people, has a privileged view of the pool and has a double bed and bunk bed. - BEDROOM 2, EN-SUITE that sleeps two people, overlooks the main garden and has a double bed. - BEDROOM 3, MASTER SUITE that sleeps four people, has a winter garden, walk-in closet, whirlpool bathtub in its bathroom, king-size bed, two beds and an office-type table. The house also has a social bathroom that, like the other bathrooms, has a gas water heating system. Wi-Fi throughout the house. Guest access EXCLUSIVE ACCESS TO THE ENTIRE HOUSE Take off your shoes, put on your sandals or sneakers and enjoy all that the house and the region has to offer. At the “Bossa” house, a perfect day starts early with a breakfast in the garden, letting your feet touch the grass still wet from the night's dew. On a sunny day, enjoy the pool and our sun loungers. For exercise enthusiasts, a walk through the region or even a bike ride are highly recommended experiences. We offer 3 adult bicycles for our guests. A lunch on the wood stove is a beautiful request, or even the traditional Brazilian barbecue. In the evening, enjoy our garden and watch a show in the starry sky around our outdoor fireplace. During your stay, you can count on optional pantry and kitchen services, treated separately from your reservation and subject to staff availability. Other things to note Once the reservation is confirmed, it will be MANDATORY to send a copy of a photo ID (Passport, Driver's License or Identity Card) of the person responsible for the reservation to the host. A full name list of all guests will also be required. Only listed people will be able to access the house during their stay.
