The space Conifer House welcomes you to kick off your shoes and relax for a spell! Tucked at the end of a quiet lane in the desirable Wing Point neighborhood, this home offers the opportunity to live like a local in a thoughtfully designed space among a grove of cedar, maple, madrone, and grand fir trees. With a peek-a-boo view of Eagle Harbor, you’ll feel every bit the Bainbridge Islander while watching the ferry come and go throughout the day. The gorgeous and fully equipped kitchen, with plenty of inspiring cookbooks, will allow you to cook up a feast, or simply enjoy a beverage around the massive island while you eat take-out from the myriad of awesome local options. The home offers two living rooms and three different spaces for eating, allowing for larger families or groups to spread out, or gather as desired. Stocked with plenty of games, puzzles, and books, we invite you to get cozy and enjoy quality time with loved ones. When you’re ready to get outside, the peaceful surroundings will leave you relaxed and inspired. A short five-minute walk down the winding lane will bring you to the access trail for the private neighborhood beach, and five minutes walking in the other direction leads to the forested Hawley Cove Park. With a full bathroom and a bedroom (Spruce Room) on the main floor, the home provides an accessible option for those who are mobility challenged. Upstairs there are an additional three bedrooms and two full bathrooms, one of which is the primary ensuite. The primary ensuite (Cedar Room) offers a large closet room with a crib. The Pine Room has two full size beds, and the Fir Room has a queen size bed. Throughout the home you’ll see a variety of eco-conscious elements intended to reduce waste and lighten our environmental impact. From biodegradable trash bags, and plastic free laundry detergent sheets, to refillable bulk shower products and cleaning solutions, we maintain environmental stewardship as a top priority, and will continue to pursue ways to do more. Guest access Guests have access to the entire home, apart from the basement, the garage, and a couple storage closets. Other things to note ***IMPORTANT*** Location: Wing Point is an old and well-established residential neighborhood, and the house is near the end of a narrow, one-lane road. There is a driving etiquette that needs to be observed, and the respect of the residents is a top priority for us. This is not a party house. Disregard for the rules will not be tolerated. Directions: Confirmed guests will be provided with detailed driving instructions which are very important, as sometimes GPS navigation leads people astray, and there will not be additional signage along the route to indicate the AirBnB location. If the driving directions are followed, you won’t have any trouble finding the place, but we just want to be clear from the outset. Parking: The driveway for the home is large, however it’s crucial that guests understand that this is the only place they may park. There is no additional street parking available. There is a limit of 5 vehicles in the driveway. We highly recommend carpooling as much as possible to make the parking less of a challenge. Golf Course: The home is adjacent to a golf course; however, we cannot emphasize enough that non-members will not be able to play on the course, nor are the pathways open to the public. The golf club unfortunately does not offer guest or day passes, so unless you are with a member of the club, playing golf is simply not an option here. The nearby Meadowmeer Golf Course is an option, and is just a short 5-10 minute drive north on the Island. Security Cameras: There are several security cameras mounted around the property, as there are access doors on virtually all sides of the house. The cameras are in place for the safety and security of the property, owners, and guests. The cameras do not record audio.
