Vale das Maias - Room 6: Double - Common Living Area

The space Casa de Campo Vale das Maias is a Rural Tourism Unit, located in the village of Laborins, São Pedro de Alva, Municipality of Penacova, 30 km from Coimbra and surrounded by three river beaches on the Alva River, namely: Vale dos Ursos 800m, Cornicovo 2km and Vimieiro 3km. The house is divided into 8 different spaces, including double and triple bedrooms and a studio. The room in question is a double room with a double bed and has a private bathroom. This room is also integrated with two more rooms, in a common and shared area, which includes a living room with a wonderful view of the outside. Guest access Guests, in addition to access to the room, can also enjoy the entire surrounding outdoor space: garden and terrace. Upon request to the owner, there is also the possibility of using common areas such as the living room, kitchen and barbecue area. Other things to note Casa de Campo Vale das Maias has a whole surrounding territory filled with potential, uses, customs and traditions that you will certainly want to know. Just 800 meters from the Alva River, you will find a river beach with clear and calm waters, known as "Maria Delgado". Also close to this beach is another one, "O Cornicovo," 2 km away. The Vimieiro River Beach, which has been awarded the Blue Flag, and the "Vimieiro - Food, Drinks & Friends" Restaurant are located 3 km away. In Penacova, and in Mondego, you can also enjoy the Reconquinho River Beach, also with a Blue Flag and a Restoration Unit on site. There are several tourist offers in the Municipality of Penacova, dare to walk the different walking routes, and go up to the Mondego Bookstore. Visit the Windmills scattered throughout the municipality, the largest nucleus in Portugal, and be sure to take a look at the Vitorino Nemésio Windmill Museum. Be sure to visit the Lorvão Monastery and the Lorvão conventual sweet shop. In good weather, enjoy a cultural tour on the Serrana Boat in Mondego, and learn about this tradition and some of the know-how of this people. If you prefer more adventure, you can always go canoeing in the Mondego and Alva. The Aguieira Dam, just 8 km away, also offers leisure areas, boat trips, jet skis, among other activities. Other sports such as fishing, trout and achigã, with good spots for artificial fly fishing, spinning and other specialties and extreme sports are also possible. Finally, and to whet your appetite, don't leave without getting to know and enjoy the local restaurants and local and typical dishes such as lamprey, míscaros rice and chanfana.
