Comfortable, nicely furnished, tri-level house nestled in the woods on a dead-end road (barely a car goes by) with seasonal mountain views. Good kitchen. Each bedroom has its own full bath. Hiking trails, skiing, and fishing nearby; sweet pond/picnic spot with waterfall a short walk away. Accommodates 4 adults, 2 in each BR. Additional guests should be children, as per local laws. There’s a sleep sofa in the lower level and a sleep chair in the master BR. Town of Woodstock Permit #20N-079 The space Top floor: two bedrooms, each of which has its own full bathroom. The master BR has a queen size bed (shower/tub in bathroom), the smaller BR has a full size bed (shower in bathroom). From the smaller BR, at night you can see the stars in the sky. Middle floor: fully equipped kitchen (cookware, dishwasher, etc.), a combo living room/dining room, and a half-bath. There is a beautiful red wood burning stove and we provide the wood. Lower level: Comfortable pull out couch, TV that is connected to Netflix, DVD player and small collection of DVDs. Washer/dryer. Games & game table. Outdoor: large deck; grill (charcoal - byo). Guest access Feel free to use our spices, olive oil, and condiments. Just replace something if you finish it. You are welcome to use the washer/dryer but please provide your own detergent. There are two closets on the second floor, between the bedrooms. We have our stuff in the bigger of the two. Please do not access this closet. The smaller closet is for guests and also has bed linens, towels, etc. for when the cleaner does changeover. Please limit your use of towels to the one set provided per person and bed linens to one set of sheets etc. per bed. (If you really need an extra towel, that's fine, but please don't use all of them.) Each bedroom has a small dresser. Other things to note ** See below for COVID 19 Notes. Dogs - We allow max 2 dogs. Please keep them off the furniture, and in a crate or with you if you're not at home - which is what we do. (There's a medium crate you can use.) Cleaning/repairs costs deducted from deposit if there is pet damage. No cats. Smoking - Not allowed. If we discover evidence of smoking inside the house, we will deduct from security deposit. COVID-19 DETAILS: 1. House is ideally situated for privacy and no-contact walking and shopping. Local stores offer curbside sales and will put purchased items into your car trunk. Grocery store not crowded and well stocked. We will provide details upon booking. 2. We provide toilet paper and paper towels for up to a 1-week stay. Guests staying longer should supply their own beyond that amount of time. ***Note: use only "septic safe" toilet paper - packaging should be labeled as such.
