Hidden Half-mile Lake House

Recently featured in Best AirB&B Canada! This lake front, 4 bed/2 bath, home features stunning views, an exceptionally private sandy beach - all 1 mile from town. The walkout basement offers an equipped mud room to dry out your gear and a rec room with a queen sleeper sofa + TV (can double as a semi private 5th bed). Max 6 ppl (incl infants). A lockable shed for your sport gear is provided. Please note that the home has a strict no pet/party rule. Approved non registered guests only (max 4). The space Room one has a king sized bed and over looks the lake (new! A/C). Room two has a queen sized bed and also overlooks the lake (new! A/C). Room three has twin sized bunk beds and faces the mountain (as such, is naturally quite cool at night for sleeping). All three rooms have drapes and overhead fans and baseboard heat. As mentioned in the description, the walkout basement has a television/recreation room which can double as a semi private 4th bedroom with a pull out queen sleeper sofa and a workspace (two desks and one office chair) that also looks out over the lake. The main public area has a sectional sofa, two chairs, a television (visible from the kitchen while cooking) and floor to ceiling glass slider doors that look out at the lake and open up to a large deck. This area has newly installed ductless heat pump/air conditioning unit as well a gas stove that adequately heats the entire home. The deck includes dining, barbequing, and a sitting area. We do ask that you don't run the AC all day while you are at the beach please. Guest access Please note that we do not recommend this property for anyone with mobility issues. There are a few different sets of stairs to enter the home, and stairs down to beach. For your comfort, the max capacity of the property is 6 people (of any age - including infants). The Hidden Half Mile Lake house property is quite large and the beach is super private and sandy (although water levels are high in the spring everywhere on west kootenay lake). The beach has a fantastic shelter that is ideal for beach dinners. The beach has a fire pit. The main house has a large deck which also has an outdoor dining table, umbrella, barbecue etc. The lockable spacious shed has been cleared out for guests to store their sporting gear. The main house has an upstairs and walkout basement with a mudroom fully equipped to dry your ski boots or beach gear. Other things to note Please note that there is a strict no hosted events/parties policy at Hidden Half Mile Lake house. Max occupancy is 6 people (of any age - including infants).
