Description
A beautiful and rustic private room in a guesthouse cabin on a 3-acre farm next to the Mekong River. The cabin is made from Amboyna burl exotic woods from the floor, the wall, all the way to the ceiling. You will experience a rare luxurious old world charm as you step in. The farm is quiet and is a great retreat for those looking to nurture their inner peace. The sunset on the Mekong is not to be missed. The space ------------ HISTORY ------------ We'd love to welcome you to experience this rustic luxury on our relaxing farm. We have a serious obsession with hardwoods, particularly Amboyna burl. Amboyna can withstand the wind, the sun and the rain for generations. It also helps keep the house cool in the summer, a functionality that comes in handy given Thailand's tropical weather. Amboyna is extremely rare these days, and is typically spotted as a decorative material for luxury goods. --------------- THE ROOM --------------- The room is private and is one of the two rooms, each with separate entrance, in our guesthouse cabin. ※ The room: 2 single bed + bedding. Air Conditioner. Bedside tables. ※ The beddings: We custom-made the bedding stuffed with Kapook tree's flower, harvested from the tree grown in our farm. This type of bedding is highly sought after given how it's comfortable and healthy for your backs. ※ Private bathroom: Black granite countertop. Fresh towels. Electric Fan. Soap. Shampoo. Toilet paper. -------------------- SHARED SPACE -------------------- The room is one of the two private rooms in a guesthouse, which is a secondary unit in our farm. You will have access to the following shared space: ※ Open-air living area bench, right outside of your room in the guesthouse. ※ Roofed parking space. ※ Resting area in a nearby unit, overlooking the Mekong river. ----------- NEARBY ----------- Public transportation is rare, so we highly recommend our guests drive. ※ Chiang Khan Walking Street: 10 min drive ※ Kaeng Khut Khu: 20 min drive ※ Phu Thok: 20 min drive
