The quaint cobbled square is moments from the door of this cottage in Grassington, alive all year round with a flurry of markets, Christmas weekends, 1940's weekend, etc. There are plenty of pubs and shops moments away, along with charming riverside walks and opportunities to try fishing, horse riding, or canoeing. With Skipton, Harrogate, Ripon, Settle, and Bolton Abbey all within easy driving distance, this is an ideal Grassington cottage for family and friends to enjoy the many delights of the Yorkshire Dales. Accommodation is over three floors, offering three good-sized bedrooms and two bathrooms. Ground Floor: Living room with two Chesterfield-style sofas, TV and electric stove. This leads to the kitchen with a dining area. Well-equipped kitchen with new Ranger cooker, microwave, fridge with ice box. Through the back door is access to a small covered area ideal for storing bikes. Second Floor: Master Bedroom with king-size bed, separate small make-up and wardrobe area, chest of drawers, and TV. Traditional master bathroom with roll top bath and a separate shower area with power shower. Two heated towel rails with wooden floors. French doors lead to a small patio area with table and chairs. (Sorry desking no bar-be-ques) Third Floor: Second bedroom: Large double bedroom with chest of drawers, wardrobe, chair, en-suite shower, basin and WC. Third bedroom with twin beds, wardrobe and dressing table. Amenities Gas central heating. Electric wood burning stove, New Range cooker with electric and gas oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge with small freezer box section, TV with Freeview, DVD, CD/radio, WiFi, selection of books, games, DVDs, and CDs. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair are available on request. The enclosed patio is accessed from the first-floor level. Sorry, no smoking, parties or pets. Parking: There is one parking space directly behind the property. An additional space is available just off the main street (2 mins away). Next to the hardware shop marked 'Private parking Southey Cottage) Shops and pubs 1 min walk. Note: There are some steep stairs, which may be unsuitable for less mobile guests. Note: The patio is accessed from the landing on the first floor. Broadband The cottage has internet access so please free to use this. Password available in the welcome folder in the cottage. Outdoor space: A decking area at the back of the property is ideal for drinks or a meal outside. To access this please use the patio doors at the top landing.
