Mineo Townhouse with incredible views of Mt Etna

Casa nel Cielo is a beautiful, bright and airy Mineo townhouse. Located in a quiet street just 5 minutes walk from the main plaza, where there are restaurants, pizzerias cafes and shops. The atmosphere is always friendly and relaxed in this authentic and historic Sicilian hill town. The views from the house are spectacular from the roof terrace and balcony, especially at sunset and sunrise. Our house is our family holiday home, so we hope you love it and Mineo as much as we do! The space The house is light and airy , but also traditional. The views from all front facing windows are incredible and look out onto the plains over to Mt Etna. We now have new air conditioning on all floors to cool the house in the summer. There are also fans in each room to create more breeze if needed. All bed linen is quality cotton. Towels are provided. There is a king-size 4 poster bed in the master bedroom, which also has a balcony and that view! There are two single 4 poster beds in the adjoining second bedroom. There is a pullout double sofa-bed in the mezzanine living room. There is a foldaway child's crib. There is a large dining area for 6 people and a smaller kitchen breakfast bar for 3 people. There are two separate living areas. One is set up as a mini theatre room with a projector, where you can watch your favourite downloaded movies. The new bathroom has a power shower, toilet and sink ! We have just had a new kitchen fitted which has beautiful marble work tops. Cushions for the roof patio furniture and large parasol are provided. A small BBQ is also provided. The house is comfortable, clean and peaceful and the view is spectacular! Guest access The house is accessed from the front door up two steps, which is directly onto the street. On street parking is available on Via Maria, the parallel street below. The keys are in a key box on the front door. Other things to note Please note that the stairs to the roof terrace are steep and are not suitable for elderly, infirm, or young children . Please ensure that children are supervised when using the roof terrace at all times. Please ensure that the gas bottle is turned off after each use when using the cooker.
