Log Home 1 at Shalom - A cozy cabin in the woods

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish wooden log cabin with great views of the paddy fields and hills beyond. The space The log cabin has a cozy feel about it and is basically a bedroom with an attached bath . There is a wonderful patio in the front and a small lawn where you could spend the entire time just by yourself and your book. Guest access The log cabins are located a small distance away from the villa Shalom and are generally hidden from the guests there . Guests at the log home will have access to a small lawn and patio attached as shown in the pics . There are some pathways around to explore if they wish . Other things to note There are 2 log cabins located next to each other. We value the privacy of our guests and have tried to separate the two cabins so as to maintain it . Guests could book both in case of larger groups or 2 couples . At max 3 guests are allowed in each cabin. Regarding meals just in case you wish to have ,we generally provide homely vegetarian meals cooked by the caretaker and serve a vegetable, a dal and rice and chapatis for lunch and dinner. For breakfast we can do poha /Upma or parathas or eggs We charge 700 per person per day for all meals including tea coffee etc Since the market is a bit away and the caretakers don’t have a vehicle the arrangements have to be done a day earlier. Incase guests wish to have non vegetarian meals then the meat will have to be provided by them to the caretaker for cooking . There is also a barbecue available for guests who wish to use the same . The meals charges are payable in cash to the caretaker at site. Also note that the surrounding space is almost a forest so it has its perks . You know what I mean !! There is an open well close to the house , so kids and pets should be warned about the same . There are electricity outages sometimes( especially during heavy rains ) and back up power for the inside of the house is provided by an inverter.The inverter back up is for about 24 hours if electricity is used judiciously. ( refrigerator and air conditioner will be off ) Incase the power outage is for over 24 hours then will try and arrange for an external generator. Thursday is the weekly load shedding day so power is cut from 10 AM to 5 PM . Inverter backup will be on during these hours.
