A cozy 1800sf centrally located log cabin nestled in the trees between 2 quaint towns formerly called New Liskeard and Haileybury - Now Temiskaming Shores. It’s the only property perfectly positioned for a family coming to rest, discover and play or someone coming to the area for work looking for the feeling of being at home. The space Nestled among the tranquil beauty of Lake Temiskaming, this waterfront cozy log cabin offers a serene retreat surrounded by lush, mature trees and direct lake access. The main floor welcomes you with a spacious mudroom equipped with a washer and dryer, providing convenient access for outdoor enthusiasts. A bedroom with a gorgeous king-size bed, complete with a smart TV and electric fireplace, offers comfort and relaxation, complemented by the nearby main floor bathroom. Additionally, the main floor features a fully equipped kitchen boasting scenic views and a charming dining room. Just a step up leads you to the living room offering plenty of seating, a smart TV, and a small workspace, perfect for unwinding after a day of adventure. Upstairs, you'll find two bedrooms and a bathroom with a stand-up shower. Bedroom #1 offers a cozy queen-size bed and a quaint sitting area, while Bedroom #2 provides two double beds and a dedicated workspace. Both rooms have lots of closet space for your belongings. Outside, enjoy the lakeside deck during warmer months—it’s perfect for meals with a view. A new sitting area by the lake offers a peaceful spot for your morning coffee while soaking in the view. The southwest facing deck is open year-round and offers cozy Muskoka chairs, a BBQ, and beautiful spots for relaxing or stargazing. We’ve also added an amazing outdoor firepit area on the southwest side, ideal for unwinding in the evenings and sharing stories under the stars During the holiday season, the cabin is decorated to create the perfect holiday retreat. Guest access Key Pad entry on door. Instructions will be sent prior to check in. Guests have access to the entire cabin and outdoor premises which includes an outdoor fire-pit and an outdoor propane fire table (seasonal). (No access to crawl space) Rental of the cabin also includes access to private dock and boat launch (seasonal). Other things to note - We are on a well, water is tested regularly but we ask that you bring your drinking water. - Our area depends on a well for water and septic system for sewage. Conserving water and respecting that only toilet paper is to be flushed is important and appreciated and will avoid any issues during your stay. :) -Please use extreme caution while using or on the dock, boat launch or near water. Life jackets are provided (6 Adult Size). However, we still encourage you to bring life jackets appropriate for the use and size. -On the lakeside, the cabin is located just up a small hill. Always use caution when walking near the hill. From the south side (driveway), it is flat land. -The cabin is surrounded by forest and wildlife, so it’s possible to see squirrels, chipmunks, little critters, fox or even the occasional bear. To keep nature outside, please keep doors closed and dispose of excess garbage in the shed bin provided.
