Casa Alena is a lovely home for you and your family to enjoy. It has a sunny south-facing terrace and includes a private heated pool. The outside space is furnished with comfortable sofas, sun loungers, and a large dining table to enjoy meals outside, prepared perhaps on the traditional stone barbeque. There is a spacious lounge and dining area on the ground floor, an open kitchen, a family shower room, and a double bedroom. There is a large utility room with a washing machine and ironing facilities. Upstairs is a bedroom with two single beds and a large balcony with furniture and a mountain view. On the upper floor, there is also a master bedroom with a king-size bed and an en suite bathroom. This bedroom has a balcony with a sea view and overlooks the terrace. We can offer crib & chair for a baby for an extra cos: 12€/ day Other things to note Casa Alena is situated in a fabulous location a couple of minutes from the promenade and the closest beach of Playa de las Coloradas. The beautiful sandy beaches of Papagayo are a short 20-minute walk away. Within a few minutes walk from the villa there are two supermarkets, a lovely coffee shop, and a children’s playground. The stylish Marina Rubicon is a 15-minute walk along the promenade. Here you will find a host of lovely restaurants and bars. If you simply want to chill out and relax, there is no need to have a car for your stay - everything is on the doorstep. If you do rent a car, there are many interesting and beautiful places to visit on the island, one of which is the Timanfaya volcano which is a 30 minute drive. If you do want to travel further afield car hire is available locally at Marina Rubicon or from the airport. Casa Alena is also in a perfect spot if you want to holiday without a car as everything you might need is within walking distance. There is a bus stop a couple of minutes’ walk from the villa and a taxi rank near the supermarket. Taxi fares on the island are very reasonable.
