Justin Trails Resort offers cabins 8 miles south of Sparta & 6 miles south of the Elroy-Sparta Bike Trail. It's in the middle of nowhere yet close to Sparta. Relax with your family in this dog-friendly cabin. Floor-to-ceiling walnut, spalted maple, cherry, oak, and basswood are sustainably harvested from our farm. 2 bedrooms each with king-size beds—private bathroom with shower. Bathed in natural light, the cabin faces the sunrise. 14 miles of walking trails. 2 pet llamas love to be hand-fed. The space Guests and their dogs love exploring our 200-acre very hilly resort. Dogs may be off-leash away from the buildings. We welcome all sizes and breeds of dogs. The pet-friendly Sunrise Farm Cabin has a private entrance. There is a kitchenette with a refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave, dishes, silverware, cups, and mugs. The patio faces the gardens and the sunrise, which is a different direction than our other lodging for privacy. Guest access Guests can access any "non-lodging" buildings at Justin Trails Resort plus our 200-acre property with 14 miles of trails. The Lodge where breakfast is served every morning from 7:30 - 10:00. The Studio on the first floor of the Elegant Barn has ping pong, foosball, a pool table, and a smart TV. The Elegant Barn is a wide-open space on the second floor. There is a sitting area beneath a 150-year-old Silver Maple tree. Enjoy the wooden swing outside The Lodge with lots of bird feeders. Bonfire pit with firewood included. 14 miles of wide, grassy, dog-friendly walking trails. 2 disc golf courses. Two pet llamas. In winter, go snowshoeing (we rent snowshoes.) Other things to note Justin Trails Resort is a perfect "basecamp." We are a great meet-in-the-middle location at the center of many offsite activities. Biking the Elroy-Sparta Bike Trail is on many bucket lists because it is the first Rails-to-Trails conversion in the USA. We have several awesome golf courses nearby. Fishing is awesome....folks fly in from all over the world to fish the Driftless. Kickapoo Valley Reserve and Ontario with kayaking, canoeing, floating, and hiking are not far. The largest settlement of Amish with 350 families is nearby with great shopping at homes and the Amish Produce Auction at 11:00 AM on Tuesdays & Fridays. There are several vineyards, breweries, and distilleries nearby. Visit the Deke Slayton Bicycle and Space Museum in Sparta. They have astronaut suits kiddos can wear for photos and lots of space & bike history. Walk the Sparta Wooden Bridges near downtown. If you walk the 5 bridges one way it is less than 1 mile. Lots of folks put a lock on the Love Lock Bridge to symbolize their lasting love for each other and remember their stay. There are a total of 7 Wooden Bridges. The other 2 are spectacular.
