Newly renovated cute cottage in historical Honesdale. Originally built in the 1940's as a TV repair shop and lovingly converted into a home. You will find yourself in rural PA, yet close enough to walk to the shops and restaurants in town. Get away from the hustle and bustle of city life and enjoy a few peaceful days in our lovely town. Garage parking for one car or a 15 minute walk from the Shoreline bus drop-off. Call me if you need anything. There are so many wonderful places to eat in Honesdale. Grab a hot cup of freshly roasted coffee at Black & Brass. 2 blocks down add a gourmet bagel from Camp Umpy's. Lunch? There are so many amazing places to choose from. Paulie's Hot Dogs, Elegante Pizzeria, Primo's, The Italian Deli, the classic Towne House Diner - a Honesdale tradition with outside seating. You can enjoy European cooking at Bronko's Patisserie. Perhaps watch small planes land at the Cherry Ridge Airport Restaurant. Dyberry Forks is a classic farm to table restaurant that can't be beat  One of the best German deli's is here too! The Alpine Wurst and Meat Haus, which has won gold and silver in national sausage competitions. 3 new breweries are on the list. Irving Cliff Brewery and Here and Now are offering new and exciting beer varieties. A short trip to Hawley will take you the the Lake Wallenpaupack Brewery. There are also plenty of shops to browse in every price range. The Cooperage Project has seasonal farmer's markets and local musical entertainment. There are usually bands playing in the park all summer long with Roots and Rhythm being the highlight. Last but far from least, The Stourbridge Line is a scenic train excursion in vintage railroad coaches along the Lackawaxen River Valley. A 2 hour trip takes you to Lackawaxen and back. There’s also a wonderful coal mine tour in Carbondale that you’ll never forget.
