Great stopping point on the way to the UP of Michigan and Canada, 20 minutes south of Mackinac Bridge and Mackinaw Island. This is a former working farm - House is extensively remodeled and the rental description is subject to change as we finish our major improvements. The space This is a great old home that has been renovated for guests to enjoy while they visit beautiful northern Michigan. There is a bedroom with a queen bed and adjacent bathroom on the first floor. There are two bedrooms upstairs, one is a queen bed, and one is a full bed. These rooms share a bathroom and a large sitting room with fold out futon mattresses (one queen, one full). You will appreciate the large kitchen, dining room and living rooms. Feel free to use the office nook to work from home if needed. Relax at the end of your day on the deck or stroll around the garden and walk the mowed paths through meadows and an old orchard to take in the beautiful views. This is a great place to visit and we hope you enjoy your stay. Guest access You will enjoy this entire spacious renovated house with full access to the house, deck, yard and gardens. There is ample parking for cars and trailers. Accessibility Note: There are steps up to the two house doors and one step from the dining area to the kitchen. Other things to note This is a fully renovated house on a former working farm. The closest large grocery stores are about 20-30 minutes away so we suggest you bring your basic groceries for your first day with you. Smaller local stores are also available.
