In winter, the snow arrives nearby and the Serra da Estrela is dressed in white. But if you prefer to enjoy a lazy day in the warmth, our houses are equipped with pellet stoves, where you really want to stay. Quinta Vale da Prata is 15 km from the city of Guarda, 15 km from the city of Trancoso and 10 km from Celorico da Beira. 5 km away is the village of Vila Franca das Naves, with access to various services and the Beira Interior train line. You can take the opportunity to visit some of the biggest attractions of Beira Interior within a radius of less than 40 km, touring the circuit of 7 of the 12 historic villages with their splendid castles and walls.
