South-facing, 300 square foot, self-contained room with a private hot tub and ocean view. Situated on 10 lovely acres near Dinner Bay park, this studio on the ground floor of the main house has a private entry through french doors off of the covered deck. Perfect for a couple (not suitable for children) or a solo Gulf Island getaway. There is no kitchen, but the room includes a small fridge with freezer, BBQ, microwave, toaster, coffee and tea. Restaurants and shops are a 10 min drive away. The space The cozy, modern room features a queen size bed, smart TV, LED fireplace, table and chairs, and a bathroom (shower, sink, toilet) with heated floors. Nespresso machine, drip coffee maker, electric kettle, microwave, teapot, bar fridge/freezer, coffee, tea and sugars. There is no full kitchen. Outside, find a propane Weber bbq, patio furniture, and private hot tub. Beach towels and outdoor blankets provided. There is ample free vehicle and bicycle parking in the driveway or the carport. WiFi, Scrabble, checkers, backgammon, cards, and cribbage board provided. A bocce ball and croquet set are available to take to Dinner Bay Park or play in one of our large paddocks on the property. Enjoy the south-facing views of Salt Spring and Prevost Islands, while the ravens fly overhead and the Arbutus trees sway in the wind. Guest access Mayne is a great island to explore because its main roads form a rough circle around the island, so you can choose different ways to get to the same locations. It's best to explore with a vehicle or bicycle. It's lovely to just walk around our property or the neighbourhood. It is a ten minute walk to Dinner Bay Park with the Japanese Gardens and beach access. There is free parking at the suite. The suite is a 3 minute drive from the ferry terminal.
