Description

Unique and cozy hideaway nestled between Highway 22 and Three Rivers. Fifteen minutes from Pacific City, but the kind of space you rarely want to leave once you settle in. Perfect spot for couples, close friends, families with young kids, or an ideal working space to get away from it all and write that novel, read that novel, or stare out the window and think big thoughts. Includes river access, an outdoor firepit, and a seasonal meadow & swimming hole. Outdoor bathtub coming soon... The space Truly unique smaller cabin with a great blend of rustic nostalgia and contemporary touches. The lower floor has a bathroom, kitchen with laundry closet, wood stove, and storage space for your gear. The upper floor is a suite of sorts- two rooms, but a large opening between them. The couch folds out into a queen size bed or a sectional, so it comfortably sleeps up to four, but it's an intimate experience (visual privacy, but they'll hear everything). Outside, there are a few great sitting spots, including a fire pit down low, some sitting spots at the edge of the river, and a secret seasonal meadow and swimming hole when the river's low enough to cross. Hammocks, trails and river play are a lovely part of the summer experience, but once the salmon start spawning (September?), it's more of a dreamy sit and stare kind of river than a get-in-and-play kind of river. Guest access entire space Other things to note Important to note that this place is close to the highway. Take this into account when it comes to kids and dogs. That said, the backyard is now fenced (will get around to redoing photos soon) so you can just open the back door and let the dogs go in and out.
