Peacock Blue Tranquility

This is a private room in my home, I live here and rent out the bedrooms of my home. This private room #2 has a firm, comfy full size bed with high thread count sheets, down alternative pillows and plenty of blankets. Small w/i closet with hangars/basket for all your wardrobe needs. Side lamps have outlets/usb for your electronics. A 32 inch Tv with Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, Max and Starz. Shared access to kitchen, dining, living, bathroom and foyer The space I have a 100 year old colonial. I live in the basement with my dog Zoe a year old Boston Terrier. I Airbnb all 3 bedrooms in my home. I have only the one bathroom and although you might see that as an issue I truthfully haven’t had too many problems as everyone understands proper bathroom etiquette. I have mirrors in the bedrooms for getting yourself ready. I provide most toiletries men and women shower gel, two types of shampoo and conditioner, q-tips, mouthwash, hand soap and hand sanitizer. I have plenty of fresh towels and washcloths. In your room you will have clean sheets and blankets, 4 pillows, 2 decorative pillows, 2 bath towels, throw blanket, hangars, clothes dressers, dirty clothes basket, Clorox wipes, Lysol spray, hand sanitizer, Kleenex, roll of paper towel, charging cord, television with streaming services and desk with chair. In the upstairs hallway outside your room you will have access to a water cooler that dispenses both hot and ice cold filtered water. I have a hutch that is stocked with keurig coffee, hot cocoa, various teas and water additives. In the drawers you’ll find breakfast bars, oatmeal, protein bars, microwave popcorn and various snacks. Guest access This room is upstairs second door on the left room # 2. Key is hanging on door frame and will lock the door from inside or out and key is unique to your door only. Shared access to bathroom, kitchen, living, dining room and foyer, please be courteous to other guest or myself. Access to any other bedroom, basement or garage are prohibited. Feel free to place your belongings in the fridge or make a light meal in the kitchen. Coffee, tea or water (absopure water cooler) or whatever snacks that are in drawer are located in the hall upstairs are available for you during your stay. The fridge in the kitchen is for guest use, I supply some condiments but please bring whatever food you want and need for yourself. I usually have a long term guest or two so make room in the fridge as needed and dispose of anything you no longer want. I have feminine and masculine shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, toothpaste, mouthwash, floss and q-tips in bathroom for guest use. ***Please park on the street, I do not allow parking in the driveway*** may be used for loading or unloading only No smoking in the house. If smoking you may smoke on the front porch. Please take your shoes off at the front door. During your stay I do my absolute best to provide a clean, comfortable and affordable place to stay with no additional cleaning fees. I accommodate guests who want to drop off luggage prior to check in. You may encounter me at some point as this is my full time home. My room is located in the basement and while I’m home that’s primarily where I’ll be, feel free to knock if you have any questions or concerns while I’m home. I have a Boston Terrier that is a new addition to my family and she is just a year old and still training . She does not have access to the main house, she stays in the basement with me. I don’t mind if you go in the backyard however understand that is the dog’s domain so be mindful to keep gates closed and watch to not step in any doggy duty. I do live here so I keep the house tidy and expect my guests do their best to maintain that as well. I work a part time job and work evening hours so I do my best to keep quiet when I come in at night. However I keep my phone nearby and normally return any msgs with the hour. Please let me know of any questions or concerns. I do rent out all bedrooms within the house so you may encounter other guests in public areas of the home as well. Other things to note Bedroom is located on second floor. Second door on left after you go upstairs. I have about 6 steps to get up into the house. My driveway is shared with neighbors, therefore drive cannot be blocked. DRIVEWAY MAY BE USED FOR LOADING OR UNLOADING ONLY. YOU MAY PARK ON THE STREET. I do not allow smoking in the house but do have a covered front porch with comfy seating. *420 Friendly* Quiet hours 11pm to 7am Early check in or late check out will be a $25 fee, will only waive for extremely extenuating circumstances. More than 2 guests or use of overnight stay in areas other than designated room $50 fee Smoking fee $100 I do my best to maintain a comfortable temperature but on 90+ days my ac has a hard time keeping up especially in the upstairs bedrooms. I expect that you will clean up after yourself especially in the common bathroom. Please rinse the sink or tub after use and leave it as you found it. If you’re staying long term I will provide clean sheets weekly or bi-weekly whatever your preference and clean blankets upon request. I have cleaning supplies in the linen closet that you may use. If you wanted your room cleaned that is a $50 charge per cleaning. Or laundry for $25 per load.
