A magnificent seaside retreat in Tresaith, Ceredigion with spectacular sea and sunset views from the first floor lounge. The house is very close to the beach, the pub and coast paths (4 minute walk). It is family and dog friendly and sleeps 10 comfortably with scope for more people if required (please contact us directly if there are more than 10 of you). Smaller groups are also welcomed. The space Ty Machlud, translates to English as Sunset House and it is easy to see why when you see the stunning sea and sunset views from the large first floor lounge. Every aspect of the design and layout has been done to provide accommodation of the highest standard that ensures a perfect base for your holiday by the sea, including a large, second lounge on the ground floor, 4 bedrooms (with 10 beds), large open plan kitchen/dining area, utility room, 3 bathrooms, reading room and spacious enclosed rear garden with two furnished seating areas. FIRST FLOOR Sitting room with vaulted ceiling: 2 sofas and additional seating focussed around a log burner and large wall mounted TV; with exceptional views from the floor to ceiling full width sliding glass doors. Kitchen/dining area: fully fitted with two electric ovens, microwave, American fridge freezer, dishwasher, central island with four bar stools and large dining table seating 8-10 Reading room: located just off the dining area, with a small library of books. DOWNSTAIRS Master Bedroom with king size bed and ensuite bathroom Double bedroom (1 double bed) Twin bedroom (2 single beds) Bunk bedroom with 4 beds (plus futon for 1 extra person) Lounge with 3 seater sofa, wall mounted TV and doors to the rear garden. Note that the sofa can be converted to a double bed, providing sleeping for 2 extra people. Two more bathrooms - one with bath and one with shower. Utility room: with washing machine, tumble dryer, sink, fridge, and tea/coffee making facilities, OUTSIDE Large enclosed rear garden safe for kids and dogs, with two furnished patio areas, fire-pit, BBQ and driveway parking at the front for up to 4 cars. Guest access Guests have sole use of the entire property. Other things to note PLEASE NOTE THAT BETWEEN 10TH JULY 2027 AND 3RD SEPTEMBER 2027 ONLY SATURDAY TO SATURDAY BOOKINGS WILL BE ACCEPTED, UNLESS PREVIOUSLY AGREED WITH US. All bedding and towels are provided (but not beach towels); free WiFi, electricity and heating is also provided, as well as a high chair, travel cot and stair-gate if required. Also, for information, the coffee maker is a Nespresso in case guests wanted to bring any pods with them (we provide a few to get you started though). Please note that this is a no smoking property.
