The Pirate Place: family friendly, waterfront home

The whole family will love staying in our pirate themed cottage. Since we vacation here too, the house has been carefully curated to include everything you need to relax and enjoy waterfront views and privacy. Enjoy the river from atop a paddle board or from the comfort of our expansive screened in porch. The house is located on an arm of Bath creek and has access to the water from a private pier. Bring your boat or rent kayaks from several local companies. It’s peaceful and quiet here. The space The house has three bedrooms to easily accommodate your family including a bunk room for the kids. Master bedroom has a queen size bid, secondary bedroom had a queen size bed, and the kids room has three single sized beds. (Adults should not sleep on top bunk- it is only rated for 75 pounds!) Kitchen table seats five with additional space at the counter or outside on the patio with a dining set and kids picnic table. The living room is equipped with a smart TV, a tall stack of DVDs, and wifi. Extra kids' cots and a pull out sofa bed are available too. (The sofa bed is small (twin size) and not very comfortable so it’s best suited for children). Plenty of life jackets are on hand so that you can fully enjoy the creek. We have an inflatable kayak but cannot guarantee its condition because it is up to guests to maintain and let us know when in needs repair- however you can definitely bring your own and launch them from the community boat launch down the street! It’s so fun! There are also some great local companies who will deliver kayaks to the house! We can't wait to see photos of your adventures. Other things to note The fireplace is not for guest use and has not been inspected this year. The garage is also not part of the rental.
