Classic Red Barn with game room and gym

Enjoy a fun and romantic stay in this classic red barn in the private countryside. The 2-bedroom barn is only available when the main house is unoccupied, so you will have the full run of the beautiful private exterior property. The barn's game room has ping pong, air hockey and foosball tables, and a basketball hoop outside. We also offer a boxing area, weights bench, and fitness mats. In the summer, enjoy the fire pit, grill and pool. The space Prepare for a luxurious night’s sleep in the sumptuous king-size bed with top of the line mattress in the upstairs bedroom. There is also a day bed located in the bedroom with pull-out trundle. The second bedroom with queen bed is downstairs, with private TV. Extra pillows and sheets are available in the closet or wardrobe. Please note the sheets, while very soft, are made of polyester, so please bring along cotton sheets if you are sensitive. The living room sectional encourages lounging and easy streaming on our Roku system. The kitchen and bathroom were completely remodeled in 2022. The kitchen is outfitted with a microwave, toaster, and portable cooktop (but no oven) for a great cooking experience. Electric kettle for tea, and coffee maker with ground coffee provided, creamers in fridge, seasonings and oil/vinegar are yours to use. We are pet friendly and ask that you include the pet fee of $50 when bringing your furry friend(s)! This allows us to do the extra laundry and deeper cleaning needed after pets have stayed. We strive for an allergy free space for those who are allergic or sensitive to pet fur/dander. Please reach out if you have questions. Extra seating for the dining table is stowed in the living room cabinets. Guest access This is a long private driveway with ample parking. Other things to note There are split A/C heating units located throughout the barn (wall-mounted remote controls to adjust temp.). We provide all linens, soaps, shampoo and conditioner. The kitchen is thoroughly outfitted for a great cooking experience. Coffee creamers are in fridge, seasonings and oil/vinegar are on our pantry shelf. The barn is located in Roxbury, Connecticut in Litchfield County, an excellent location for hiking, antiquing, exploring great restaurants and more!
